Health and Safety

We aim to maintain a high standard of hygiene and children are encouraged to wash their hands after going to the toilet and before eating. Inhalers which are sent to school should be clearly labelled with the child’s name and instruction in its use should be given to the child’s teacher. The whole school is a non-smoking area. The school has a full Health and Safety.

The School Health Service aims to promote healthy development and wellbeing so students may reach their full potential.

Our school health services provide

  • Information and support to students(and their families) to help them make informed decisions about their health, wellbeing and development.
  • If required, refer students to another health professional.
  • Plans and deliver school immunization program.

The school health team also provide

  • A full time qualified nurse and a paediatrician are present to help the students during school hours.
  • Regular health check-up and issue of health card to monitor health of students.
  • Eye and dental check-up at frequent intervals.
